Still a ways off, but would be nice to see it going again.

Why a local mountain has jumped on lift accessed riding is beyond me

Except seymour would need two chairs for enough vertical.
Grouse doesn't want one due to them already being tourist traps in the summer.
And Cypress is too busy to care.

I've still yet to figure out why cycling bc is doing this, they aren't 'race promoters'…but they're bikepark operators? I really don't understand how this is something they should be focusing their efforts on.

At least someone is trying to get it going again!

I would buy a seasons pass in a heartbeat for local lift accessed trails.

Ride, don't slide.

It's clear Cypress has spent some significant coin trying to attract boarders [HTML_REMOVED] skiiers away from W/B. Why not try to steal some bikers away from Whistler Bike Park? In summer or winter, of course they're not close to offering what W/B or the bike park can offer, but could be a viable alternative if people don't wanna make the drive up the S2S.

Not just DH, but jump, slopestyle, BMX parks and a pump track would be great additions to a lift-access facility and bring up more riders. As the dad of a ripper kid, I think it would be great for local kids/teens/youth who can't afford Whistler or don't have parents who are willing to drive them there on a regular basis. Alpine bike park does not have to mean North Shore/Freeride. Cycling BC may justify their involvement in that DH and BMX are official UCI disciplines. Would anyone object to Cycling BC supporting the Burnaby Velodrome or running clinics there (which it does)?

moar berms! I'd definitely sign up for this. If they offer everything that you can't already get for free by shuttling locally (not much point throwing in chunderfests….) then it must be a winner I'd have thought. A good selection of flowy, jumpy, pumpy, wumpy(?) trails would be rad.

As for Cycling BC, why not? Only a tiny proportion of cyclists give a toss about racing.

Add a-line like trail. Put a bordercross in, watch the profits roll in.

Clunking is for retards.

I'd buy a Cypress season pass in a second along with a bunch of others that I know.

I would also support such an endeavour.
