Anyone we might know? Hopefully everything is OK…

COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) - Coquitlam Search and Rescue personnel were called into action today, to help an injured mountain biker off of Eagle Mountain.
Dwight Yochim says the biker fell after a jump. "It's a dangerous sport. He landed on his head, off a fairly big log, so he's lucky there were no neck or spine injuries."
Luckily the man was cycling with three others, who cell phoned for help. Fifteen people took part in the rescue.

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

Healing vibes his way. :) May he ride safer next time.

i heard about this and thought davem had lost his doughnuts somewhere on the trail and called out SAR to help him find them.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

I heard about that but haven't seen it. I gotta say wtf?

Although Gorz hit it on his all mountain bike without much of an issue.

Well, pros are pros, and I'm not saying it's impossible, just weird.

I just couldn't figure it out. The tranny can't even hold dirt it's so steep, into an immediate flat 80* left. Maybe they're gonna put a berm in at the bottom, but judging from stuff higher up the trail, probably not.

the other side of that coin is people should be taking a look at what they ride and determining if they have the skill to ride it safely ride it or not.

It is built rather strange though, it doesn't really line up well, and the steepness of the tranny makes it really tight.
