man, its really too bad that theyre puttin houses up, too much population in vancouver area, in white rock, and all the other lower mainland areas theyre just pumping sub divisions in. I personally think that vancouver has became way too crowded and it has turned into too much of a big city. Vancouvers a super nice place, super good riding, but its getting too hard to find anywhere to build, and when you do find somewhre to build, it gets destroyed. once im done high school, im leaving vancouver, moving to nelson, rossland, or somewhere like that.

The land all the way up to the park boundaries is owned by British Pacific Properties (ever read the signs when you're riding cypress). They can do what they want to as long as they follow the provincial environmental guidelines. This basically means leaving a small buffer zone of trees around streams/creeks. BTW, the Properties are owned by the same family that owns Guiness beer. If you want to blame someone, point the finger at the governments of today and the past for allowing the development to go on. At least British Pacific Properties allows us to use their land at all. They could just close up their part of the mountain and tear the trails down.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.
