Seems somewhat unfortunate that half of BC are choosing to ride lower Seymour at the moment….the one area where no trail maintenance is currently allowed. I think I'll stick to walking my dog for a while.

It's pretty soft out there, was out trail running yesterday. I imagine will be packed today.

Old Buck and Baden Powell lots packed today. I suspect it's because road access to Lynn Headwaters is closed and many trail users are having to head elsewhere. Need to email DNV council and Metro Van staff to get budget to repair the headwaters road or ride your bike from home.

Y'all should just come over here to the island and ride some trails and spend your big city dollars. Snow free and (mostly) dry conditions over here.

depends on the trails, AA and severed were in great shape today. No mud, very firm. :)
I couldn't find a parking spot near Old Buck today and had to park near Parkgate Park. Lots of people riding the only show in town.
I opted for a hike with my 10mo old and bridle, high school, RT, Salamandar, lower severed were all in pretty amazing shape. Stoke was definitely high out there amongst all trails users…

^This. The trails that are snow free right now (most below the power lines on Seymour + all but 100 feet of Ned's) are actually drier than normal for this time of year.
Went out yesterday on Seymour after the rain. Trails were in great shape considering.
Severed has held up really well.
