So with all this rain and melt I would guess that the trails on the shore are going to be super soft and muddy. They held up really well in the fall, wonder how they will hold up after all the snow.

Yes giving the trails a rest is ideal but it would probably also be helpful to post an updated list of heavily armoured good wet weather trails.

hopefully people give the trails a rest, and if you have to ride, stick to the more old-school armored trails like neds

I went up Fromme today. The lower gate is closed, had to park at Coleman. From the Bobsled exit and up the road is clear hard ice. From the parking lot and up it's really crusty. Coverage in the forest above there seems pretty solid but I didn't persist too hard. The rain and warmer temps are just reaching that elevation.

Mount Seymour below the power line is pretty much good to go. There is still lots of snow in the open space under the power lines and lots of trees down on the power line acces road, mainly on the lower hike a bike section, but there are also some trees down higher up including one across the entrance to Pingu.

Anyone been on Fromme in the last few days?

Can you ride Mountain highway yet? How about some of the lower descents (Espresso, Pipeline, Ladies etc)?

You don't have to go up very far to be at the snowline. Snow will be sticking around a while.
