Bobsled wood drop

I haven't been out for a bit, I was getting back into the groove on Bobsled and was going to hit the larger wood drop only to find a big rock in front of it. Looks like someone purposely removed a bunch of the wood slats? Vandalism? Any word on repairing it?

Interesting, I haven't ridden this in a while but it would be sad if the they are taking the larger drop out.  If the entry had a tiny bit of flow it would have been one of most enjoyable drops on Fromme.

It was blocked off (tape, or a log, I didn't notice a rock) when I rode by about 2 weeks ago.

I stopped doing that drop after I had an incident with my dog on it that has, now 27 months later, left me with what looks like life-long injuries.

Its an awkward drop tho - the entry needs to be improved to speed it up. In my case I went OTB while I was still on the wood!

I remember your thread about that crash, suck it's still bothering you. I stopped riding them because of the awkwardness and harsh landing... more fun to keep speed up and pass the on the left.

I think the awkwardness is there by design to stop constant massive sends happening...but if there were slats missing, sounds like a well intentioned rider trying to stop other riders hitting them and having a bad old one.
