What I see in this thread is that a lot of folks were dupped by this criminal even if they had no involvement in his operation but just viewed it from the oputside, then they got all pissy when Lee and myself and others pointed out the fact that they were dupped.

If you thought bikerescue was legit for even an instant than you were dupped for that instant. I'll admit that I was for short instant suckered until I figured out..het wait a minute he's selling stolen property that he has no legal right to.
If you figured out he was a crook then good for you. But if you bought a bike off of him, unless the police said he was legit, you were suckered in my opinion. If the guy who rightfully owns the bike you bought makes a claim for it, it's his. Just like if I ever find my ugly old Steel Marinoni, I will attempt to take it back from whomever has it.
