Great job! I hope it works out.
Bike Park Propositon V2
Im glad you redid it because I was Highly Unimpressed with your pipeline bike park bashing in your first copy

 I really wasnt trying to bash it, i was trying to make it appeal to the bmx track so they have something to reason with. Personally, pipelines my fav place in the world :) PS, How did you get your hands on the first one ?
Wow, looks really good. Make sure you let everyone know how this works out.
PS. If it does work it will look really good on a resume!
Hey Josh
Your description of the dirt required to build the jumps is wrong. You actually want a material that is 5-10 % fines (clay, silt) and 90% granular. If you ask for a material that is 70% clay the surface will turn to gooey shit in the rain and you will never compact it, unless delivered at the correct moisture content. If your proposal goes through you will get exactly what you asked for.
I have thought alot about how you would go about weather proofing dirt jumps. If you think you are going to be successful I would be happy to dicuss it with you.
Rick
good job freak. good luck on your presentation and hopefully you guys will get what you ask for.
Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.
they also call me "balloon"
oh dear forgot to put something in. For the meeting tomorrow for parks and rec, I WAS INVITED. :) I didnt ask, they called :)
When you post on NSMB there is a spell check tool in the top left corner of the "message" frame.
Be patient - that is the best advice I can give. I have been actively lobbying the City of Abbostford for over a year now. I have appeared before Council once - before the Rec Comission once and had countless meetings with Staff and Council members. So far - I have a comittment for 8 or so signs on existing trails. No bike park to speak of yet. So realize that you are in for a long trip - but if what is happening in other communities is any sign - it shouldn't be in vain!
just got back from presentation. We killed it. Said thell keep in touch, and that they want a meeting with me and friends. ill keep informed
just dont rails before the meeting and you should be good.
3 years later, NO PARK :(
Interrivers Park was something like 7 years from concept to riding. Keep persisting!
maybe team up with the Langley crew?
Yo!
alright!!!
Or you could just ride over that fancy new bridge to our park!
Actually, I grew up in Pitt Meadows and lived their for 27 years. Now thanks to the new bridge I'm only 6km from my old house. If you need help let me know.
alright!!!
