Galbraith right now (as long as it stays cold and the mud is frozen) is mint. Lots of fun.

Galby is pretty snowy on the upper 1/2 although the snow depth isn't all that bad and fully rideable if you pay attention.

So up by Evo and scorpion there is snow? How about trails at trails like unemployment line? Ive only really ridden that side of the hill.

We're Pac SW of Canada. We're Pac midwest of NA. And we're PNW of the Americas, or if you're 'murican.

ANyway, you can ride in the lower mainland but I hears that Oregon and WA have had a warmer winter and snowlines are lower or non-existant.

While you lot were arguing about arbitrary geographical locations, I had a really nice ride on Burnaby Mountain last night.

The snow on the access road starts below Unemployment Line but it should still be rideable because it looked reasonably tracked out. The tough part is that there are sections of trail under the trees with on a dusting of snow and hero frozen dirt so you can pick up a ton of speed then hit some icy woodwork or a patch of ice and be looking at the dirt or treetops in a millisecond. You need to throttle it back a bit so the bigger trails wouldn't be my first choice.

Has anyone ridden in Squamish recently? Anything going out of Alice Lake or is it all under snow?

Drove through Squamish last night and there is snow down to sea level. Not much but higher up there is. A colleague of mine lives in G Highlands and she said there was fair bit of snow at her house.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

Squamish snow is ice - rideable, but not fun. Some clear patches in the dump trails, though.
