Hey, Im heading to Trail/Rossland next weekend and I need a quick tune of my fork before I leave. Whats the best bike shop in the downtown area? I dont have much town as I do leave on Saturday. I did a quick search and couldnt find an existing thread like this.
Best bike shop downtown Vancouver
simon at simon's bike shop isn't the friendliest dude. but mechanic in the back is good at tuning suspension. if you drop off the bike at 9 am, he will have you your bike fixed by the afternoon same day.

What kind of fork? Do you need a damper bleed, or just seals and bath oil?
Ride, don't slide.
While not in the heart of DT, Dizzy cycles is just on the other side of the Burrard Bridge and would be your best bet for close to the dt core. Talk to James, he'll get you set you up.
Kits is also a great place to hang out for a day if you're from out of town.

its a 2010 Lyrik coil. I honestly dont know. I may need a different wt. oil or different springs. Basically Im doing the seven summits trail in Rossland with a guy on a much smaller bike. Its going to be hell with the way the fork is set up right now. I need to go in and talk to someone.
Dizzy fixed up lower oil can something amazing… I'd go there. :)
Go to Dunbar in kits ,they service Rock shox James does not touch that product.
How much you weigh I got D/C Forks just sitten id trade you if you are 1 1 eighth steerer.

Because a DC fork will be better than his Lyrik for the 7-Summits…:???:

Is the fork too soft or too firm? Too much dampening or not enough? You will probably need the answers to these questions before anyone will be able to have a shot at fixing it for you.
dizzy. just had my fork rebuilt there. was like 60 bucks (oils, seals, labour).

 James will 100% try to sell you on a fox 36, but they will have no problem servicing a lyrik.
Dunbar is great too, but they're a fair bit further from downtown.

If you're just doing seals and bath oil, just do it yourself. Not as hard as you'd think.
Stopped by this week. Super nice guys. I'd recommend them.
Fast turnaround as promised and described above.
I ended up going to Simons because it was two blocks from my place. Did Seven summits but it was a tough one.
