Not cool. But I'll bet ya the driver ran him into the curb as a 'lesson'. There are good bus drivers and there are some serious surly assholes out there. Maybe this is a case of assholes collide
Ahhhh Australia….
alright!!!

If that's the case, the biker could have just stopped. Having been in a lot of buses
and seen a lot of dickie moves all day long, I can't blame them for being a bit surly.

Australia is still a Penal Island.
Wrong. Always.

Basically, yes.

punching someone twice the own age is never ok…
…because if the older one has been around the block once or twice the young punk is gonna get his ass handed to'im.

Shit yeah man… bunch of dirty convicts all australians are
you sound like a jerk!

When I was a kid in California, a lot of the surfers called Australians "Vickies" in
response to being called "Sepos" I guess it never spread though.
So there were these fires a few years ago in Australia, they were everywhere.
One of the local newspapers saw hundreds of thousands of sheep lining up on
the shoreline, looking back at the fires and out into ocean towards New Zealand.
The reporter asked one of the sheep what was going on. One of the sheep said
they were thinking of swimming to NZ because of all the fires in Oz.
The reporter asked "what's stopping you?". The sheep said well between the
fires in Australia and the men of New Zealand, either way we're fucked.

It's funny because it's true.
:)
Or maybe it's not true.
:(
It's certainly not funny
I suck!
:o
Wrong. Always.
No, Australians are awesome - road cyclists are psycho
:orly:
I would believe your statement if you replaced awesome with one of the following: (1) loud, (2) annoying, (3) really loud, (4) really really loud and annoying. I think that about covers it.
I read that as Caucasian (white/European), not like he's from France or Germany.
Edit: and what no one is going to stand up for the biker here?
I'll bite.
I seriously doubt the cyclist freaked out because the bus overtook him. It doesn't make sense. More likely is that the bus driver decided that using his bus to threaten the cyclist was appropriate, thereby taking the law into his own hands and risking the life of the cyclist while he's at it. In that context getting seriously angry is not that surprising.
It's like someone on their balcony spotting a cyclist on the sidewalk below and thinking "That is illegal so I'll get my deer rifle and shoot his tires out. Chances are that I won't accidentally kill him in the process but if I do, well to be honest he deserves it as he is cycling on the sidewalk." [HTML_REMOVED]Bang[HTML_REMOVED] "Well I didn't kill him but now he's shaking his fist at me. That is outrageous, HE was the one breaking the law!".
All this is assuming that the bus driver did something dangerous. Having been nearly squashed by aggressive bus drivers on more than one occasion it doesn't seem like too much of a far fetched assumption.
