the best part is how shy he looks that a girl is offering him a kenny!
Who wouldn't get excited about getting a little Kenny?
Come to the traiday and you may also receive a kenny.

and one on the Sunshine Coast!
I guess every rider can get out this Sunday and help out, no matter where they live!
Isn't the Mach Chicken trail day on May 03rd? Or is there another SSC trail day this weekend?
But he looks so happy. And it's not his most hated picture. Now can anyone find that trail day picture. I can't :(

Depends. Is the lunch crew serving bacon?
Great weather, great food [HTML_REMOVED] lots of work done on Upper Griffen.
Thanks to Dan @ On Top for the lunch!
Also, thanks to Digger for having a birthday so we got to sing happy b'day and share his cake.
It was fun as usual.
Dan did a fantastic BBQ (Yes, they are legendary) with Burgers and Salmon.
Was that a tear I saw in Digger's eye when HBD was sung? He's a softy.
I think we even got some work done!

Definitely worth while! I even managed to get my kids to do a bit of work. (Picture a 4yr old shouting "I think I need an axe!")

It was awesome how many mini-groms and groms were out with their parents (and how few there were with no parental supervision).
Best parental quote was something along the lines of:
"Come on sweetie (2[HTML_REMOVED]1/2 year old) stab the dirt!"

Yes, the groms were there and working hard. They built up such a large inventory of rocks and gold soil I had to ask them to stop.
The top 2/3rds of Upper Griffen is buffed out now.
Did the guys moving those boulders near the bottom get finished before dark? ;^)
Huge props to making such massive boulders part of the line.

LOL I was wondering about that myself. I helped dig out the monster rock but then ran away quickly, when they started talking about moving it down the trail. I'm imagining a huge rock sitting in the middle of the trail going nowhere.
Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.
When we walked past they had the original bolder (previously a 2.5 foot drop), then the two new boulders they moved into place to make a rock skinny.
The last rock still had about a foot high drop and they were talking about how to finish it off.
