Yeah, I want to witness the cliff faces done by someone who's done it before. Then maybe I'll give it a go. I can do basically everything else leading up to that.

I don't know how anybody can ride that cliff… i got chills walking my bike down it.
I'm looking for a bolt-on crown for a '99 bomber z1 qr20
know where I can find one? [email protected]
you'd be amazed what you can actaully roll down when you commit
if i stop at the top of a steep, i dont do it. if i look at it one ride, and just go for it the next it normally comes out alright.
personally i find the really steep short rolldown about 3/4 of the way down the trail harder to commit to.

The toughest part for me is lining up for the piledriver. I pretty much just roll straight down the middle of the last two rocks I think. I sort of drop in a little to the left of centre on the last rock and angle to the right a tad in a effort to be lined up a little better for the ramp onto the piledriver. The compression as you come off the last rock and turn onto the ramp is tricky..
If I flow onto the piledriver ladder, then I'll hit it. Otherwise I'll just cruise by it. I don't like having time to stop and think about that drop. :)
I've only cleared the gap cleanly maybe 3 or 4 times. Usually I grab too much brake after the drop and then it feels like I'm barely moving as I come around the corner… Or if I haven't ridden in a while I have a tendency to carry too much speed off the drop (don't want to piledrive!!) and then I can't make the corner!
Without a doubt, that whole bottom section of boogie after the temple is my favorite bit of trail on the shore. It was the first truly nasty "north shore line" I saw when I moved to Vancouver, and thought "there's no fucking way you can ride that". Now that I can ride it, I feel like The Champ everytime. :D
I am usually not scared of steep roll downs and stuff but when i rode boogey man last summer that was the only part i walked, i am pretty sure i could ride em, but i had ate shit pretty hard earlier in the day and wasnt feeling sharp, that is why i passed on piledriver too, plus the tranny sucked when i was there:???:
I cant remember the details of those rocks to specifically, just being scared and not wanting to ride them even though i had 7 inches of travel up front and probably coulda just plowed through them, but it was a off day.
this is a cool line when you put it all together: from the steep right hander (with the new ladder/stairs down the rock) - drop the first steep ladder roll-down (flat); on the brakes. drop the next rock slightly to the left - landing above the futon; line up [HTML_REMOVED] hit the drop/ gap above the futon (to the left of the big tree); hard brakes, right [HTML_REMOVED] set up for the first big rock face; point it staight down to the interesecting trail flat; line up for the next steep rock face - to the right of the tree that leads directly up the piledriver ramp (this is usually the hardest part to get clean - the transition is a bit gnar to set up for the ladder, esp with the speed you pick up down the face); then go piledriver to gap. fun!

  Sounds like my last day of riding experiance last summer when I was out there, except I made it about half way down just before the some what flat section before the steeps. I bailed just above there and basiclly was a rubber phuck doll hanging on for the ride over the two drops leading to the "flat section".
I was leading my bud's who came to the top looked down and said how'd you get down there so fast? My response….I fell half way. :D

Which one? Cherry Bomb?
I dont think its the bomb thats the last one right. after the widowmaker you do a little climb and its off to your left. Crazy transition at the bottom. seriously if you did all the hard rollers on Cherry I think it would be the hardest trail on the shore.
