Wednesday. How can I get down there for Wednesday? That's a work night. And not coming here till the end of May. We'll be able to ride here by then, I won't want to take a break from riding to watch a movie. It should've been here during Telus Fest.
Anthill Strength in Numbers - Canadian Premiere this Wednesday, April 25
Great showing in PA last night!
Pretty good movie all in all, felt a little short though. The gnarcroft helmet cam footage was a textbook case of application; give a real perspective to the size of the jumps. Semenuk's closer really capped off the movie. Also I like how for the most part the film moved away from using your standard half speed slow-mo for the majority and showed a lot of stuff at full speed with quick "banger" shots slowed down extra. Really I could do with none at all but hey it's an improvement.
On a sour note though, Messere's part was terrible, an entire segment dedicated to 2 jumps? Use some of that red bull cash next time and put some f'ing effort into locations, technical lines and possibly some tricks we haven't seen before instead of just stretching it out at some god-awful slow speed.
saw the Victoria premiere
Agree that messeres part was boring lol
Desert hucking, kamloops, and semenuk at the end were awesome

Its weird they claimed Hunter's segment was in Kamloops when in fact it's in Utah though.

Uh dude, do you live here?
I don't think there's that many dead ponderosa pines in Utah.
Methinks some of it's out by Savona.
I'd like to know where Gnarcroft is…

I was thinking the same thing. Googled it but couldn't figure it out…

No you're mistaken, its far far far way from here, not an area that could be accessed and ridden out, nope not at all.
Move along folks, nothing to see there.
