Loved that little bowl in West Van!
Haha, yup! We were all there every day the weather allowed eh. Watching Struen do 360's. Thank god for BMX. So many good memories of West Van from that era.
I was the kid with the Kuwahara and the ridiculous tan. (Father lived in Hawaii, so I was frequently baked).

New Kona store opening on Pemberton Ave
Looks like I got that wrong...judging by the sign on the window, it seems like this is the new location for the Canadian distributor rather than a store...
People still buy bikes and parts in bike shops??? That's weird...

You mean, pre-Great Bicycle Co?
Wasn't it Great "Northern" Bicycle Co.?
Ran into Bob wrenching for Sports Junkies on Brdwy few years ago. Wonder whatever happened to that Finnish guy, Hannu I think his name was, left Rocky with Bob to start that place.

The place I am thinking of was located where Lynn Valley Bike Shop is now. It was started by Andy and Randy Ius (Swedish)...formerly of Breakaway Bikes in West Van....and now of Happy Planet fame.
Oh, nevermind. heh....place I thinking 25 + Main.
