Judging by the huge Kona signs outside, I'm guessing not. It looks like the finishing touches are being done...don't think it's actually open yet

If it's on the corner of Marine and replacing that golf shop my confidence in humanity's future will be restored.

There were rumours of Cove becoming a Kona factory shop. Guess not.

I was gonna say, that would have made more sense to me... Kinda wierd to add a dedicated Kona shop with Cove there.

Yes it turns out. They just showed a ti hardtail that's basically a Rootdown BA.

I think that bike is made by Lynskey in the US to coves specs. I chatted to Chaz about it, it seems more like a pet project than core business. They're aware of the fact that $3000 hardtail frames are a bit of a niche.

That said I drove by there yesterday and there was a devinci tent outside -I don't think they sold devinci before, that I remember seeing. Maybe they are changing. Being that Lynn Valley and kinetik both already sell devinci seems like possibly an odd choice though.

I like the cove dudes. They've always been good to me. I only ever buy gear and components from them though, they don't really carry any bikes I'm interested in, other than the hummer I can't justify. Yet. :)

They've been selling Devinci at least since 2015 or so, I bought my 2015 Spartan frame there.  Before Lynn Valley Bikes carried them, from what I remember. Back then it was Cove and Steed on the Devinci, then Steed stopped and and LVB picked up the D.

I enjoy the Cove geo chart "Freedom/Rest of World"  Hope they sell many bikes due to that.

Different Bikes in West Van used to be a Kona dealer as well, now that it is a Bicicletta store, they no longer sell Kona.

I can see Kona wanting a second dealer on the North Shore, as most of the bigger mtn brands do have 2 dealers.

They had Kona? Thought they were just Giant & Rocky. Maybe I'm not thinking back far enough. ..I miss Axle's shop up by the library....oop too far😆

That W Van Bicicletta actually does pretty good stocking useful mountain stuff.

Bicicletta is maybe the only ibis dealer around these parts, too.
