I'm bustin a gut right now picturing that, OMG it looks hilarious.
Heal soon and well young Pete.
We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Harshness Dude:eek: :D
Fortunately….I'm in a position to buy stuff "ahead of time"….example: Get stuff more "hardcore" than I am or critical parts that I don't have a chance of breaking…even though they are too heavy for my use….I use them in the effort of dwindling my chance of a "chance" part failure. It's the last thing anyone needs Eh!?
To mix concrete and part failure!….shudder…

I was riding a black brodie holeshot wearing a green half-cut helmet and the backpack in my avatar.
Handlebars are one place I don't fuck around, it's either steel or titanium for me, get some Block 8s next time around, you'll never have to replace them, and they bend before they break. I run Titec Hellbent Titaniums on my bike, which are sweet bars… when I bottom out they just flex instead of taking stress, and they have a almost infinite stress life… plus they're light, shame they don't still make them.

concrete has very little cushion….
its funny how people wont replace a part until it breaks, even if they know it has a "useable lifespan"…
glad to see you didnt get mad and say "what a POS bar i need a steel one"… bars like most parts ARE a wearable item.. just liek brake pads..
Glad to hear you're OK Pete.
I finally just changed the bars on my HT, i was running some 8 year old, old school Answer Hyperlights. I guess i got lucky
shit man i dont know you but hope ure ok
