Freeride Phil!!!!!!

Bring your bike in!!!

I think you need a new spring!

Bottoming once or twice a ride is OK….

More than that your hurting the bike!

The Lyric should ramp up faster, it is the narrower stanchion (35mm vs 40mm)

When was the last time the forks were serviced?

What bikes are they on?

I need more info!!!!!!!

serviced two days ago, at suspensionwerx, full o-ring/seal replacement. i'll have to break it in now, thne get back to you.

Lou,

Thank you so very much for the new set-up, which initially feels better indeed. However, I have to test it more thoroughly after Thursday, when I will be able to add a working rear brake to the equation. See you tomorrow.

Happy trails

Hi Lou,

The brake works like a charm now and the rear shock set-up has significantly improved, too. Thank you so very much for your help and great service, very much obliged.

Happy trails

hey lou, i followed up after the rebuild, the fork does go in ALOT smoother now. the seals seem to hold their ground.
but oil seems to be LIGHTLY coming out from the rebound knob. I got new crush ring for it, but it seems to be leaking from the middle of the bolt.

J-Kwon,

If the fork is leaking out the bottom, it usually means the assembly is leaking, be it rebound (usually) or compression.

Which fork? The Lyrik or the Totem?

Lou

Well I would have pegged him for Mr Reed, but it was clearly Mambo No.5.
