ahhhhh the Ransom……

I would like to see it lose about 3 pounds.

At the 30 it is the ALUMINUM frame, which I appreciate!

Put on a FOX Talus 36, Shimano XT cranks and BB, shifters, rear derailleur and cogs!!!!

Then I think we're talking!!!

Price goes up about $300 though……

What do you think?

lou, i can drop 3lbs just taking a dump in the morning, not overly worried about the weight. i was thinking of the talas too.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Hey Lou,

I got my fork (05 WC Boxxer) and shock (4-way) serviced at Obsession recently. I've noticed quite a change in the handling. The only problem is that the bike seems "squirrelly" at high speeds. Im not much of an expert at setting up the suspension so I was curious if you had any tips on how to set this up properly.

Thanks Lou!!

Lou, as always, you're the man!

The bikes rode like a dream (though obviously Kristina needs to get herself some new forks!). 36 talas maybe?

The builds were perfect though, thank you so much for all the effort, and the super quick turn around. Just sorry we busted out of there so quick, how did the Jack go down?

Oh, and Whistler was FULL of breaking bumps!

Sun Peaks this weekend!!!

Bring the bike back to me….

I will set up the air in the fork, and we will set up the rear end.

SQUIRRELLY usually means the rebound is too slow, ie. wont let the wheel hook up, or compression too hard, wont let the wheel absorb the bump…..

hey Lou, i have a lyrik solo air 2007, and totem solo air 2007 on two bikes, and the lyric seems to ramp up more linearly, and feels more sticky, while the totem feels more progressive, and SMOOTH What could cause this?

both compressions are fairly low, rebound is fast, and psi is +/-5

The Lyric should ramp up faster, it is the narrower stanchion (35mm vs 40mm)

When was the last time the forks were serviced?

What bikes are they on?

I need more info!!!!!!!

Hey Lou,

Just received my new ride, Transition Bottle Rocket, but not quite too happy with the rear suspension, i.e. DHX 5.0. Riding on Seymour the last two days I did get the feeling that the shock is bottoming out after drop offs. Question, could I come in for a check in the upcoming days, and please forgive me my lack of knowledge, in which of your locations are you working?

Your consideration is highly appreciated and I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Happy trails

Phil
