Hey Everyone:

Still down in Vegas: finished a very exhausting but super succesful show.

Regarding Chilcotin and Endorphin SL:

Endorphin SL frame weight is about 6 pounds - perhaps 6 and a quarter for a large. Two Endorphin SLs were built up for the indoor show: both were high end builds that we would all ride for sure and both bikes were about 24 pounds (one was full XTR, the other with Raceface Next cranks / bar and XO). The dirt demo bikes which had more mid-high end build kits (i.e. SLX, XT, X7 and X9 components) were about 27 pounds.

The pedaling position on these frames is dialed for all geometry settings and fork options.

I'll answer more questions once I'm back in Vancouver next week - I need some serious sleep now :)

my point is that no one will have a 23-lb knolly that will survive more than 1 ride.

The 23.8lb show bike will last for years. Granted, it's full XTR and not everyone is going to shell out for that kit, but it's certainly not going to explode on first ride.

Biggest downside was having to clean drool stains off the top tube every 25 minutes.

Anyone remember the NSMB pictures of Interbike the year Noel just wheeled his VTach around the show since booth space was very expensive?

Times sure have changed!

Here's some shots of 3 of the show bikes we have in the North Van store. These are now ours (and could be yours!) There were 4 but one went already… be the first on your block to have a new Knolly.

White Chilcotin Medium, light build (XO/Next cranks/Lyrik 2step etc)

Yellow/Bright Chilcotin Small - SLX/X9/Fox 36

White Endorphin SL M - SLX/X9/Fox32

The 2 Chilcotins are $6500 SRP as built. Demo bike special $4795

The Endorphin SL is $6000 SRP as built. Demo bike special $4395

Production bikes not expected until March we believe. If there is a colour or size you really want we suggest pre-order with a deposit as first run will be in demand….

we'll try to get a scale shot up soon.

The white M Chilcotin is about 31.9 lbs from memory. It is not really a super light build, just a bit lighter than the yellow S one is. Both have fairly burly wheels and tires as well as cockpit components.
We can potentially swap key parts for the interested buyer of course….
