Norco John Henry is a Family orientated community bike shop based in the heart of the world famous North Shore in North Vancouver. We provide friendly, open and expert service and advice to all types of cyclists in Vancouver. Weather you are a young tyke looking for your first bike, a seasoned pro looking for the bike that will take you to the next level or just your average rider looking for a bike to put a smile on your face, we cater to everybody.

We are currently offering positions for Sales in our Sales Department and Mechanics and Service Technicians in our Service Department.

Sales Associates.

We are looking for both full time and part time enthusiastic, friendly and out-going sales associate to deliver the best customer service experience possible. Candidates should be:

-Friendly [HTML_REMOVED] knowledgeable about the bike industry and the product that they are selling, comprehensive training is provided along with huge online knowledge resources.

-Willing to engage in conversation with customers from all walks of life and listen to and qualify their needs in a open, friendly and efficient manner

-Be able to deal with a fast paced work environment often dealing with multiple clients simultaneously but also be self motivated during downtime and help maintain the shop and the customers experience.

-Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential as is previous experience with lightspeed and/or Merchant OS

At Norco John Henry we treat every bike that comes through our door the same, with the best mechanics, tools and resources at our disposal. Weather it is a world cup race bike or a faithful old commuter we do our best to give the best service and at a reasonable price. We want you to join our team and help us improve our world class service department and become part of an enthiusiatic and knowledgeable team with an opportunity the grow your skills and improve your knowledge. Candidates to join our team should have:

-At least 3-5 years previous experience working in the service department in the cycling industry.

-Detailed and extensive knowledge of bicycles of all types, parts, tools, service techniques and parts compatibility

-Attention to detail and and efficient and tidy work ethic

-Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced work environment.

-Ability to talk to customers in a friendly and open manner, efficiently assess and diagnose and bicycle and explain the repair service to the customer in an efficient and easy manner.

-Ability to work on suspension and hydraulic brakes with knowledge of the latest developments and technology

-Additional abilities that would be preferred but not essential would include:

A detailed knowledge of suspension forks and shocks, servicing and tuning, suspension kinematics, bearing overhauls and electronic gear installation. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure but to the highest standard.
