What's in a name?

Not much. That's one of the reasons that we chose a name that has many meanings, a least a couple of which are potentially ironic.

And if all we were doing in adding a shop was changing the name, then yeah it wouldn't mean much. The new store is pretty much the same today as it was 2 days ago, but we'll be working on changes and improvements that benefit customers. That's why we added another location (and one with a solid rep to start with). A few examples of benefits:

- more brands
- more selection in existing brands
- more choices of spots to get your bike serviced
- better deals on service and specials as overheads are lower and purchasing power is better
- more diversification to strengthen us for the long haul = better service
- lower overhead and greater scale helps us hire more good people and pay them better = better service. (Did we mention we're hiring?)

Anyway - all we can ask is to give us a try. Hopefully you find there's something in a name, but if not that's OK too. Just keep riding.

This is solid all around. Bob and crew are good people, and the DB formula is tops in my book. It's more west coast than Cyclepath brand, and the range will be better for everyone.

Congrats to DB and Bob on making a great choice.

In the spirit of giving each location its own identity, would be great to see lots of metro's, sherpa's and metropolis bikes on Broadway as part of the mix.

Thanks Tyler.
We're working on getting the Rocky Mountain models you mention (and more) into the new location - but it will probably be later in the summer as we need to respect other dealer's brand commitments for this season.

Congrats.

BBQ season approaches along with the riding season (although for some of us neither of those really end do they?) We'll make sure the new store has some BBQ tools and bottle openers available for emergencies.
