there are some awesome things to bid on. hope it raises a ton of money.
Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.
they also call me "balloon"

I believe this might be one occaision where the friends don't let friends mantra doesn't apply…
You can all go to hell. I'll be joining you shortly and I'm bringing beer and cheetos.

hehe, that mantra states 'ride', not 'own', and there wouldn't be any riding on that frame!
Should be a good auction. A lot of big money grabbers there.
too bad the frame is mounted, that would be one unique ride to have. I can only imagine what the top bid on the red bull helmet will be…
I may have to bid on that john gibson photo. it is quite epic.
Is it just me…or do the bid now buttons not work? Tried in both IE and firefox….

The auction will remain open from November 20th, 2006 to Novemeber 30th, 2006.

The official auction site seems to have the wrong dates
"Sad, but true. Oh, so true! (I couldn't have said it better myself). The newest craze in mountain biking (a sport that keeps reinventing itself -out of boredom?- is called "Slopestyle" -doing flips on mountain bikes." -Monica Craver-
You are correct Peter.
The auction is a volunteer effort so you'll have to bear with them a little. After announcing the start date of the auction they discovered that the software only allows them to keep it open for 10 days.
Hence Nov. 20th (this Monday) until Nov. 30th.
Ahh…sorry, didnt notice that the dates changed..I was going by the dates on the site.
"The auction will remain open from Nov. 15, 2006 to December 8th, 2006."
I will wait till the 20th…heh.. :)
Will it be an open auction? Like, will it be ebay-style where you can see what the bidding is up to? I'm really curious to see what things will go for. I'd love to buy a couple items but I bet they'll go for a lot more than I can pay
I missed the 888 by 10 bucks…..
Damn it.
