BC BIKE RACE - Daily Vids & Updates!!!!

Well here we go…the BC Bike Race starts tomorrow with the Prologue starting a noon at Interriver Park! Come on out and cheers on 500 athletes from Around the World!

This is where daily course videos will be up loaded so you can sit back at the end of your day and enjoy the surrounding areas of North Vancouver, Nanaimo, Cumberland, Powell River, The Sunshine Coast, Squamish and Whistler and watch these awesome athletes in the Epic and Challenge courses tear up all the wicked single-track.

Around the World - is that like Really, Really Out There?

I saw Endless and their Belgian crew checking into the Holiday Inn. It's pretty amazing how many people will travel this far to get pedalled around our corner of Around the World.

Looks like it'll be a nice day tomorrow - I'm planning on cycling down to interriver park to check out the circus. Should be fun.

It was fun to watch Chris Holm. I'd never seen him ride in person before. He was working at least twice as hard as anyone else, but he still posted a respectable time on the prologue. Pretty impressive.

It looks like they picked out some very nice singletrack in Cumberland for the race- nicely done.

Did one of the buses transporting riders have a mechanical problem this am? I thought I saw a coach on the side of the highway on my way to work in Coombs with a bunch of outdoorsy-types lounging around on the shoulder.
