hey, my bikes are with you right now and when i brought them in i forgot to mention on my coilair when i x-up and such the rebound/lockout on the right hits the bottom of my frame, if i file it down like a mm or two would that void the warranty on my fork?

I believe it could void your knob warranty but would have no effect on the fork warranty. A couple mms off that massive lever knob won't hurt.

hiiii

when I am riding at apply light pressure (say slowly stopping on pavement) to my front code 5 brake they seem to pulse as I slow down. I am assuming it is something to do with the pistons needing realligning or something. any tips on how to fix this?

I would need to try the brake to diagnose the issue further. It sounds like possibly allignment or just a pad to rotor interface issue.

I have a norco six 2 just had the bb replaced. the reason why i had it replaced was it was making a very loud creaking craking noise under load on the down stroke. when my lbs took it apart a presure fit washer fell out and we could not get it back in. the bearings where a little worn.so we replaced it with another truitive bb. Same as before.just picked it up today and it's doing the same thing. Evan a little worse. I've even swithed pedals to see if that was it. Any ideas.

What kind of cranks and bb are you running? What was the washer for that fell out?
Have you also checked the bb area for cracking in the frame?

All you need is a chain tensioning device such as the DMR tensioner which costs $34.99. Then we remove the cassette and install a KK Single speed cog kit (15T or 16T) for $11.99. You can use your exsisting 8 speed chain.

Is this the same DMR tensioner that you mentioned?? Or will it work?

Also, how much would it cost for housing and a cable for a Hayes 9 thats long enough for barspins and such?

What kind of riding are you doing? The Fire X cranks are a XC crank, is it possible the taper is gone in them causing creaking?

Yes that tensioner is correct.
You mean a Hayes 9 hydraulic brake? You'll need a brake line and a bleed if that's what you have.

Yes I do, sounds like a internal problem, likely fixable in the shop, but not fixable in cyber space unfortunately. Best to get it in and get it fixed soon!

You haven't had a question for a while but I have one….

I was dirt jumping today and about to walk about to the top of the jumps when i noticed that hydraulic fluid was coming out of my hayes 9 rear brake. I looked and the bleed nipple cap piece fell off and is lost. So I need to bring in my bike to get that fixed on monday and was wondering how much the piece is and how much to have the brake re-filled with fluid? If you could pm me an answer that would be fantastic!

Another question, how much would it cost for me to buy a rear juciy 5 or 7 from you guys? 6 inch rotor.

Sounds like your bleed plug fell out! It happens on older HFX 9s. You need a little inexpensive part and a bleed. No big deal. Pmed details.

Anyways I didnt get a pm about the details but I will bring the bike in on monday probably.

Interesting….the newer ones didn't tend to do that but it could happen!

Another question regarding the 2009 product……
When do you expect to have the 2009 giro helmets in? I need to pick up a new flak.
