As we head into Whistler Bike Park’s final weekend, it seems to be a good time to reflect upon everything that has happened in the last few months.

It has been quite a summer for The Huckwagon, and we owe many thanks to everyone who supported us, rode with us, and encouraged us. Our return to the scene after 6 years away was well received – even by those new faces who may not remember us from our old days of shuttling up Seymour.

This year’s transition into Whistler service was met with enthusiasm from riders who immediately understood the numerous benefits of a dedicated Whistler shuttle in which bikes, skis, and snowboards were transported at no extra cost. This year also saw The Huckwagon doing YVR trips, bachelor parties and weddings, and some tours around BC.

The Huckwagon has also recently partnered with Coast Gravity Park, and will be taking riders there year-round. The location features a pocket of warmer temperatures that enable the trails to remain open through the winter, so no need to put the bike away just yet. Book online through for package pricing including bus, ferry, and park tickets with pickup in North and West Vancouver.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to a successful first year back. Thank you to Crankworx for such a fun and rewarding partnership this year – it was a blast. Thank you to all the North Shore and Whistler bike and ski shops who continue to help promote and support us. Thank you to for building an absolutely beautiful trailer for us, and for becoming a part of our family. Thank you to VeloFix Sea2Sky for your support, and for generously offering early morning bike service to Huckwagon riders before heading to Whistler. And thank you to all the riders – without you, we wouldn’t be here. It has been so exciting to meet you on the shuttle and share some laughs on the way to Whistler.

For everyone who is eager to see some snow, we look forward to seeing you back on the shuttle for Whistler’s re-opening on November 27th. We will continue to offer regular trips to Whistler through the winter, so use The Huckwagon to skip the snowy drive and the expensive fuel costs, and just relax in climate-controlled comfort.

Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for regular updates, even during the off-season. Thanks again, and if we don’t see you this weekend for the final days of the Bike Park or the Turkey Sale, then we hope to see you again in November!
