Hi,

My wife's commuter bike, a 54cm 2015 Marin Lombard in matte gray was stolen from VGH (BC Cancer Agency building) on Monday evening. We have reported it to the cops already. If anyone sees it would love to hear from you. It has fenders and a rack on the back, SN is HA15480HS4046 as visible in picture.

Thanks man, appreciate the lookout. I'm going to cruise by there occasionally as well to see if it is around. Apparently there were a bunch of bikes taken at the same time from VGH on Monday. My wife usually has the bike in the card access secured bike room, locked with a reasonably thick cable lock. Unfortunately she forgot her card that day and locked it outside :(. Guessing the thief was able to use an edge cutter or something to work through the lock over time. From now on, Kryptonite ulock only especially outside of secured room.

I assume the bike was stolen in the past few days? If not, here is a Craigslist posting from a couple of weeks ago

Although you could be real cheeky and put up your CL ad before ripping off the bike

Yep it was Monday 8/24, but thank you for the post. Might see if its still for sale as a replacement since we've had no luck yet recovering wifey's bike.

Or real cheeky AND a time-travelling super-villain who for some reason uses his superpowers exclusively for small-time petty theft.

Or you could have any old CL advert up and then just edit it so it becomes a Marin advert. Unlikely but possible.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.
