just got in from AC . . .better than it was , but still a ways to go . new snow , not much , pretty cakey , with the bulletproof chunks underneath . if you could find a slope that was untracked before , it might be pretty good now . i'm thinking those slopes on lesser flute , the moderate grades out toward the bottom boundary .

Thanks Bro, not really for me, it will need to snow for about a week solid before I drag my spoiled ass up there, but I have clients that appreciate the updates

Thanks for the beta!

efff i just saw this - the slopes i had in mind off flute backside would be S - SE. Did you manage to get into Oboe Creek on the north slopes? I could do laps of that all day

BACKCOUNTRY AVALANCHE ADVISORY
Alpine: CONSIDERABLE

Treeline: CONSIDERABLE

Below Treeline: MODERATE

Travel Advisory: Approximately 10-15cm of storm snow has fallen in the past 24 hours. The snowfall was accompanied by very strong winds from the south and southeast. You can expect to find the ridgelines scoured and crusted over with a thin freezing rain lens. The bulk of the snow has been blown low in the start zones and most of the activity we are seeing today is occurring just above the treeline elevation (approximately 1900m). Below treeline there is not as much accumulation and the snow appears to be bonding to the old moist surfaces.

lee , i didn't get there myself today but i would think it is probably scoured out up top , but not bad lower down . but don't go very far down , 'cause it'll get shitty pretty fast . . .

DAMMIT!!!! It just rained hard allll night up here in Nothern Ontairo and lost about a foot or two of snow in the last week…. our hill sucks now and the lakes are slush to go sledding…. I just give up on thinking this winter will get better!! :swearing: at least i'll be out biking in a few weeks

Biking isn't an escape from life, its simply a better form of it.
