nobody up here but us smurfs in the matching blue jackets

actualy other some startup issues with the buses in some of the eclectic side road routes the acomadations/acreditation/uniforms/accomadations/ has all been awesume and we have put in a couple of days of work … felt like shit this AM but IBprophen helps alot

the condo is great! we are up at about the same level on the hill as the finish line of the DH,the whole smithers crew is in one condo …so its just one big party

I was asessed a one bottle of wine penalty for hitting a big pile of snow in a side slip and falling ,apparently I need to post a 100swiss franc bond if I want to protest so I just paid the fucking fine under protest

once again I want to thank all you tax payers for paying for all this !

I think everyone who came to the mountain today went into the blackcomb backcountry…

Lee wanted to do the Cham chutes. After getting there we figured the snow would be better down the Spearhead side so that's where we went! Twice! Then up the Stairmaster to Phalanx for the last hurrah.

Glacier Chair 9:00am

Quatchi bootpacking

top of Phalanx

down phalanx

It looks like spring snow up there, minus the spring amount of people.

I wore shorts and t-shirt all day in vancouver yesterday, wtf?

somehow a few of us were was allowed into the upper gate of the venue while it was still under a secrity lockdown to check for pre-planted … whatever terrorists pre-plant

so I go booking full speed into the acreditation office looking for my meal tickets but instead I blundered into an RCMP command center and suprised a doz or so of the boys in blue … they were not impressed

still I had 1st tracks in the breakfast tent while 200 weasels were standing outside security waiting for lockdown to end and ran into Sharon with whom I had breaky

OPP ,RCMP,vanPD,vic PD ,markahm PD ,pick the canadian PD of your choice the po-lice are suddenly here today here in a VERY BIG way , they are everywhere inside venue/ outside venue/ on slope/ one every block on the way to weasel house …pretty much wherever you seen a rent-a-cop yesturday you now see a po-lice memeber flown in from a force somewheres in canada

smoking a reefer or sucking on a beer in a public space would not be a good idea
