Want… where do I get?

Ha! I saw that for the first time today and thought the same thing.

On a separate note, I can't believe I missed them opening Symphony. Guess it's testament to the state of the season.

I'm guessing Flute is looking like a rocky hell hole still?

I've had a bunch of really good laps on Flute already this season, it's not that bad at all….backside/bumps has also been decent.

Nice nice turns and plenty o' space to go round the last few days post-storm event.

Saturday, when kids were in their programs we did the Musical Bumps thing and just played on features on Oboe and Apostles. No noted instabilities and supported snow all around.

Sunday the big girl headed off to her program, as they are trying to dial their 360's prior to the first comp at Apex in 2 weeks. But the little boy played hookie and joined us for a romp up Flute and to hit some drops he's been eyeing.

Dropping her off bright and early:

The "standard" view greeting you at the top of Whistler Peak:

He had to show this one from ski school on Saturday before heading home:

Forecast starting to look more "normal".

I think you get this whenever you happen to visit a page that they are revising. Whenever I've gotten this on the alpine forecast page, when it's back on-line, it's been updated.

Forecast looking pretty happy right now. I mean… I think it'll be raining to the top… stay away.

Valley is forecast to be at 8 degrees at the start of next week. Pray it doesn't get here quicker or we might be bike parking sooner than expected.

That's too far off to count given the crazy forecast swings day-to-day this year. But I'm an optimist.

There's no doubt which one I'm rooting for.

Assuming we get the goods, how many people in Whistler this weekend? 50,000 or 130,000?

Well the weather looks like crap - winds, zero vis, heavy snowfall.

So that means 130,000 will show up and within one hour, 75,000 of them will be in the lodge, 15,000 will be on SolarCoaster on Blackcomb, 25,000 will be on Emerald Chair on Whistler, 10,000 will be riding Fitz to hit the new park, leaving only about 5,000 in the alpine.

Basically the perfect weekend.

Like I said, I'm an optimist.
