I didn't think you skied resort?

Got soccer tomorrow, but will throw a couple laps in on Sunday and then Wednesday morning. Should be more snow by Wednesday with the look of the forecast.

Had some time yesterday morning before a meeting at 12:30 in the village, so did a warm-up on Dad's and then skinned two laps up Peak and hit Whistler Bowl to Doom[HTML_REMOVED]Gloom for both laps.

Tried my kids' GoPro with the chest mount - got some fogging between the housing and the camera, so sort of hurt the video quality. I think my body heat from skinning with it on caused this. I will watch for this in the future.

Still, gives you an idea of the snow quality up there (which most certainly will deteriorate with the inversion forecast this weekend):

This Sunday was satisfactory, but spring conditions seemed the reality with alpine highs of +6. Even by end of Sunday wear and tear in-bounds was very obvious. Hiked up Harmony ridge, but snow was super heavy and going isothermal by late Sunday. Lots of pinwheeling and releases on slabs (back side of camelhumps) were occurring easily.

Wife skied the Saturday and said snow was better but still more like a spring day.

Crazy fluctuating forecast every day this week. Hope is low.

Whistler is busted for another seven to ten days at least. This morning should have been decent though.

Groomers were fun and fast. Peak didn't open as advertised due to wind. Red Rampage got a touch of frostbite on her nose

Snow is better than last weekend but certainly a chill in the air, ergo me updating from the lodge.
