My gortex ROCKS!
Hooray for new GORTEX :woot:
I too was getting warm and fuzzy feelings for my new outerwear.

Well, today was flat out retahded (given that's only November 18th).
Cold, blower pow and zero lines for me till I left at noon… was not expecting that today. Sure, you had to be on your guard as the base is still super-low, but as long as you picked the right lines you had knee deep fun stuff for pretty much the entire morning.

Really? wow
My ride around lost lake was a sloppy soupy mess.Plenty of time for pow on the way though!
Approximately when does Whistler usually open up Harmony, Symphony, the peak, etc each year? I realise we still need a fair bit more snow until that'll happen… is mostly everything usually open by Christmas time?
normally i would say yes by christmas. I remember a few years back peak didnt open til january due to sketchy avi conditions, but i think thats more of a rarity.

I remember that year… we came up at Christmas, got our skis and headed to Rogers Pass! So much terrain was skied in the Selkirks that year, cause they had the coastal snow pack…
Funny thing was, the local mountains were good
Spanky's was good in March…

and this is why i am sitting on my couch rather than being on the hill right now. way too easy for me to get over excited and hurt myself. Still got 5 months of snow coming…
Thought about an early season day, but would rather have a new board still
Why slag free swag?
ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
25 again overnight. Hard to hold back, but I've managed so far.
I'm with you norton. Been skiing almost 40 years. Don't need to ski marginal thin conditions and hurt myself. I will likely be up this coming weekend though because the following weekend we move in the City.
Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.
Gravity + Altitude + Snow = fun.
Rode out to Midstation today.. not quite worth it yet.
As I read somewhere, I don't have any skis that I dislike enough to ride quite this early
