Monday and Tuesday were definitely great fun. Rode all day Monday getting some early runs in Harmony and Symphony and finishing with a Peak to Creek run which although tracked was still fun fast. Although catching a hidden tree stump with my board sucked.

Tuesday me and a buddy headed upto DOA around 9.30, we were the 6th and 7th tracks out of it back down into 7th. Followed it up with a grey zone hike, some runs down Fraggle Rock area, crystal trees and what not. The legs were definitely wrecked by 2pm.

I'm going to miss this place in a week when I leave!

Did some Blackcomb slackcountry on March 6th. DOA was pretty tracked out already, Corona Bowl still had some fresh lines. Deeper into backcountry, like Decker, looked very nice, lots of snow left.

Did the alpine open at all today? Anyone know where the freezing level was?

Everything opened. Freezing level went all the way up. Don't bother coming up this weekend.

No kiddin.

I noticed that the alpine on both hills were closed from at least noon onwards today, not sure if were opened at all.

In any case, I'll be up this weekend scraping all the powder lines away from CL.

I heard rumours that Blackcomb will be closed this weekend due to power outages.

Anyone going up should hedge their bets and hit Whistler side.

Lol ah I think ill be sticking with Aus mate, I'll definitely be coming back for some holidays though. Its just easier to make a decent living back where all my carpentry tools are.

Its been an amazing 8 months this time though!
