when it gets this warm : try no wax …. clean dry base with a heavy texture . like take a masonry brush with stiff wire bristles to put the structure on your base , then scotchbrite to remove the microhairs . you trying to create a surface that won't allow the abundant water in the snow to create suction .

wax just collects dirt , and that snow is dirty!

way back in the day , when whistler used to stay open for as long as there were customers , they would leave out a barrel of diesel fuel and a rag to clean your bases after every run . . . that shit was fast .
