Does anyone know where and why they are moving Showcase? So we don't have to do that massive climb to the glacier?

because the toe of the showcase glacier is receding. I think they are changing the locations of the first few towers, kind of like the horstman last year.

I think the climb takes less than a minute.

shout out to Ops for actually doing a shit ton of summer grooming! Garbo liftline, lower insanity, seppos, and it looked like they had a machine on P2C at the Big Timber junction, if they clear out those 4 foot trees they'll probably be able to open with much less snow this year…

"We're moving it to flatter terrain in support of our snowmaking project to help rebuild the glacier".

I recommend being roped up. You are travelling in glacier terrain after all.

Cool to hear about the summer grooming, although it probably won't reduce the number of blown up legs from over-eager seasonaires blasting through the trees on opening day. I've been thinking about skiing lately although I'm not ready to put the bikes away by any means.
