You'll probably need the ATM at the top so you can buy lunch after you max your credit card out on the $139 (+tax) lift tickets.

Why would someone need this? Are there cash only shops up top or something?

Sure worked as viral marketing. Even the traffic radio station had a sound bite about it.

Yeah not sure I really understand the point of this other than what Heckler said, just some stupid marketing gimmick that these marketing wonks think are so clever. I guess if eyes on your marketing is the goal, then, profit?

There can be only one explanation for this. Dealers only take cash, duh!

Isnt that the olympic gold ski cross champ in the pict?

Cibc used to put a lot of ATm's at colleges and uni's hoping to score broke students as customers when they finished school [HTML_REMOVED] got a job

IME the CIBC was tied for "most clueless canadian bank" with BOM

They put ATM's everywhere and I have worked on them everywhere, working on ATM's in a little room or out in the open in the checkout area of walmart sucked and this location looks pretty sucky when it comes to doing business

He's obviously thinking "Asynchronous Transfer Mode" - talk to your Telco provider.

Stupid but it seems CIBC is getting valuable marketing from it.

The most painful thing at WB this year was seeing the Mandarin signs in the village gondola building/olympic station :(
