Good time to head to Sorcerer lodge in the Selkirks.

Day 3
http://www.leelau.net/sharonandlee/sorcerer-day-3-swiss-col-and-the-scotches/

The day broke clear and cool and allowed another alpine adventure. Today we skied with Stu and Linda. We headed down Lee’s Trees, over to Swiss Col, checked out Hopscotch and Butterscotch and exited via Talisker/Oban and back up Wizard Gulleys.

Very Nice!:)

Didn't look like you were having to hunt to hard to find some decent skiing.

We didn't! But the group after us would have had to!

Day 5
Iconoclast
http://www.leelau.net/sharonandlee/sorcerer-day-5-iconoclast/

Lee was pining for this peak the last time we were at this Lodge but conditions didn’t even allow an attempt to get close. The conditions this week did. He was going to go the day before with a small group, but when that group grew he opted to ski with me, let them figure out the route and conditions and head up the next day if it was worthy! The other group reported wind swept, sastrugi not enough coverage to ski, worth the tour regardless, and the veiws were great!

The last Thursday and Friday were supposed to be socked in. So to the trees we go! Shreddies Bowl and Trees.

Turned out Thursday cleared up and we could do a final alpine run down Heppallumps.

Friday, not so lucky and we were shut out of the alpine. At least the Shreddies area offered some great low vis bowl and tree skiing.

sweet looking terrain up there. looks like you timed it with the high pressure. Heppellumps is named after a friend that guided there and also a care bear character along with another run Wozzle(not sure of the spelling on that). Tanis' kids were young and into the care bears when they were named. one day i hope to get there. he also talks highly of golden alpines tenure

THanks for the history!

I got the spelling off their map so it should be woozels…

Heard the caretakers name was Hepple, hence the spelling of that name.

Yes, our timing was good! You should definitely check out that terrain!
