Had a wicked trip to West Yellowstone to ride all the new 2011 Sled's. The new e-tec 800 is amazing! Wicked fast and smooth and quieter and way more fuel efficient than the p-tec motor….

Only in america, you can sled in a national park but not bike…

e-tec? have they gone electric?
Direct injection. No more carb.
E-TEC = turbo ready XP!
Mmmmmmm Sunshine! :rawr:
Sweet sleds but wayyyyyyyy over priced
I see what your saying but really the price is the same for the carb version, then 1300 more for the e-tec engine which in my opinion is totally worth it. The freeride seems way more as it is a spring check only with the e-tec engine plus the beefed up suspension, new wider rails, beefed up chasis and a few other goodies…not cheap for sure..

Our dollar is getting close to par with the US, check the difference between US and CAD pricing. I think it's gonna be like two or three years ago where everyone close to the border goes south and gets a sled in a crate down there, puts a dewalt drill on the driver, and presto a new "used" sled for 20% less.
The sleds are expensive, but US pricing is reasonable compared to what we're supposed to pay. Oh, and the freeride, seriously? 30 lbs heavier for $16k? They are really going after the sledneck wannabe market.
Mmmmmmm Sunshine! :rawr:
I'll just stick to buying used and let the 1 season user take the depreciation.
