Snowboard.

I heard it's going to be a disappointing season snow-wise here on the west coast. El Nino, like two years ago.

Who knows though.

Environment Canada says there is no El Nino or Nina events this year . . . hopefully snow will come close to last year's levels.

Ski!

I think that at the start of every season someone says its going to be great while another says that its going to be crap. What ever happens happens. I am still hoping for a repeat of last winter, minus the Christmas washout.

where is the option for snow skate?

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

they also call me "balloon"

I heard the same as you actually. Really hoping we're both wrong though!

I can scrape all the powder off the hill but I prefer to ski

That's the lamest generalization ever. Sixty year old stretch pant wearing plankers with their Lange boots attached for every turn love spewing that tripe.

Bad skiers wipe twice as much snow off the mountain as bad boarders. If you are crappy at either one you'll be a scraper. If you're solid on your board you'll leave the prettiest ribbon there is.
