It was "their" first post on what is a nearly 5yr old thread on something very skiing specific on a mtb forum. Regular Joe looking for the type of advice they asked for is not going to come here looking for that info and not going to find it on the first 10 pages of a google search either. It could be a legit post, but just seems too out of place to be real.

Agree a bit odd but wasn't trying to sell some kind of workout muscle building powder or some shit like that

I'm waiting for the follow up post where they extol the virtues of the Colorado guiding/tour company they're heading out with. It's like the sneaky ad placements you see for branded products in movies, tv, etc.
