I'm taking it pretty easy riding, but to be honest, it doesn't bug me much unless I try do pushups, or unless I sleep on it.

After the dislocation (snowboarding) two seasons ago, and the collarbone last season, I'm giving snowboarding a miss this year  I've missed well over 12 months of biking thanks to the snow!

Back on track here… Ladies is frickin wicked in the snow. I don't ever really even ride it in the summer. It's a lot more fun when the ladders have a nice thin layer of ice :D We need to rip sometime Blaine. We made it from the car (on mtn hwy) to upper oil can in 52 mins the other day, a new record for me! **

oh yea ladies would be wicked in the snow. yea icy hot stuntaz are so much fun. sketch factor :thepimp:

ya we'll have to shore rip for sure. thats not bad time climbing fromme at all. anything around 50 minutes is decent because it means you are pretty much pedalling all the way.

I want to go try some of the trails when there is snow on it - I was told A-Line is pretty wild on skis or board!

gonna hit up some of the trails on mount washington too…

I find it hard to keep a steady pace due to all the snow that collects under your arch and crown. Snow jumping I find hard because unless the snow is perfect and fluffy, It just doesn't pack and after jumping it a few times there's tracks in the jump and even bigger ones in the tranny. Not a lot of traction either, snow tires are almost mandatory to have fun snow jumping.

we did a day in a foot of fresh last season because i set the alarm for 5pm instead of 5am..woops. still a freakin' blast of a day, but its just not the same as crusing on a bowl…way more freedom.

there are a few trails that i would love to ride in the snow though…its just so hard to convince myself that when there is fresh snow, i should leave the boards at home.

dear DW,
since you got like a million bucks now, can i borrow $2850 for a Revolt frame?

thanks,
steve

I was there with you Norman.

conditions had to be right for snow jumps, you had to really pack them. it worked so much better when you had spiked tires tho. we used to rip our bikes down the frozen bow river in calgary back when it used to freeze over all the way.

Well, well I been movin' down to Florida.
And I'm gonna bowl me a perfect game.
Well I'm gonna cut off my leg down in Florida, child.
And I'm gonna dance one-legged off in the rain.

it adds such a new dimension when you can't see the trails and the parts that you can are even sketchier cuz they're frozen mossy rock and wood. and night riding in the snow is teh ownge.

the best snow conditions is springtime when its melted for a few days then gets really cold. there is no trail you just ride down wherever you want. then as you get lower your front tire eventually breaks through the crust and you do a super endo.
