is fun. i love those rides that start off at the top of the trailhead in like 2 feet of snow but by the time you're halfway down the mountain, trail conditions are prime. haha my first shore ride ever was on cypress in the snow with cam and trish, but what an awesome ride.
riding in the snow...

i hate the mtn bike snow segments in videos…
One of the best rides I ever had was on boogieman on boxing day. Our brakes didn't work… but it's ok.. snow slowed us down
when i had my big bike last year i rode just as much in the winter as i did in the summer,,, i agree dante.. it rocks some major socks
edit… we also took a ride with 3 guys off of dropmachine.com who i've never met before and went on a ride in a friggen blizzard… pricelss memories
yes I lost it
yea i've had some amazing snow rides. when i was a kid growing up in alberta, my dad and i used to make our own spiked tires with little nails, epoxy glue, and extra tubes. they worked wicked but hurt like hell if your wheel ever hit you. my friends and i used to make snow jumps for our bmx's and launch into big snowbanks.
I can't wait for the push up fromme, when the snow starts at like the 2nd switchback, and you keep riding, slipping everywhere, and it gets deeper until you don't even bother trying to ride it!
the teh
hahaha yea i can't wait for my first full winter of living in Van and riding the shore. :thepimp:
ps: hows the shoulder holding up eeyun? you've been pretty active riding so i assume you're healing up well, cuz that was nasty what you went through. i guess you can hit the ski slopes more this year too.
this will be my first season riding in the snow… my bike that is… 14th on the board, and 25th on the mountains :D
(i used to ski :P )

Collarbone is still broken :( I'm just limping along really. I'm having my surgery in early January to get fixed up. Was supposed to be end of November, but I can't fly for a month after surgery, and I have two flights booked for december! d'oh!
I'm taking it pretty easy riding, but to be honest, it doesn't bug me much unless I try do pushups, or unless I sleep on it.
After the dislocation (snowboarding) two seasons ago, and the collarbone last season, I'm giving snowboarding a miss this year  I've missed well over 12 months of biking thanks to the snow!
Back on track here… Ladies is frickin wicked in the snow. I don't ever really even ride it in the summer. It's a lot more fun when the ladders have a nice thin layer of ice :D We need to rip sometime Blaine. We made it from the car (on mtn hwy) to upper oil can in 52 mins the other day, a new record for me!
