My current want is the Arcteryx Stinger - High Collar, Stowable hood, hip length ( CRAP they don't have mirabell anymore! )

Another interesting Arcteryx jacket is the Fireball - Women-specific design; wind resistant ( WINDSTOPPER! SWEET! ), lightly insulated softshell jacket. No hood though. Hey Brian, would this be good on the lifts?

probably not mid winter but early - too late spring it would be. The insulation is thin lining laminated to the windstopper. it offers more protection than a softshell and more breathability than a hardshell.

The Stinger is an offshoot of a jacket we worked with the CMH guides on for them.

HH Lifa base layer
Arc'teryx Gamma SV Soft shell
Arc'teryx Theta AR hard shell

Snowboarded in that for about 5 seasons. Good for semi-chilly to downright frosty (West Coast cold, not OK or Rockies)

The one piece Norrona suits are pretty cool.

I think I have pictures of Davenport pufftering it up at Snowbird in a vintage white Kastle one piece from Ski mag test week. It was pretty soy.

Go small company and semi local.

Trew is a Hood River based company and the garmets are made here in Vancouver.
