speaking of night the extreme Everest challenge was last weekend, pretty low key this year, I stayed mellow didn't get drunk knocked off only 5 laps so no bonking
40 cms of snow up here in the last week
also having a pretty good memory for where all the days woops have formed on the cat road helps a bit too.

Yesterday Peak Chair and Red were rammed, today it was ride-on Glacier and Crystal. I was also curious, but not complaining mind you!
peak not opening was kind of a big fail, marginal call anyway, guess I could see it both ways, but, man that would've been tasty….still had a full day of this though, so, you know, not many complaints

50cm here over the past 2 days, last week was good but getting variable as you dropped elevation. This "little" system just made that all a distant memory :)
Damn jealous, it has been a week of rain to well over mid mountain here. Just went up for a hopeful arvo slush day and it was bullet proof ice for the most part. 1 run down and we were on our way home again.

This weekend was awesome. No lines Saturday and lots of fresh snow. Oboe was deep this afternoon.

working at the Canadian ski cross champs this week, good course, great conditions.
still lots of events at the hill to come, Chinese DH, regular DH, slush cup
wnet to Hankin and it was actualy really good, still getting dribs and drabs up here
looks like the end is neigh in a couple days, we're supposed to see +4 degree celsius and 10mm rain in the alpine over the weekend. Nice late afternoon skin today however and tomorrow we'll push for 3000m vert before it all goes to shit. Already halfway through my carb loading regimen for today, half sack down and another in the fridge to keep those legs fresh for tomorrow :)
i remember when i lived in nelson. we used to hike white water after it closed. i remember snowboarding may 08 2001 . we hiked 40 cm of new snow. it was a week like that. so much awesomeness.
