the hovercraft is an interesting looking board. I have be riding a prior khyber for a long time. I know there are not the same with the khyber having a very tight turning radius, but the intended use is the same, deep snow. I like the khyber a lot, but it makes one kind of turn, short and tight. it does float very well and I find in anything but truly bottomless pow I lean on the nose to get it up on plain. its sort of a pain in the ass on the skin track, because if your partner is not on huge skis your braking trail behind them.
I also have a couple friends who bought jones boards the first year and were not super happy with their Quality Control. weird gaps in the middle of the board and delams. have not seen any since.
my next board it going to be closer to an all mountain twin. looking for something more well rounded.
Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.
