Home made drying system

I'm making a builtin for my mudroom. I'm also plumbing in a boot/glove drying system.

I've got the electrical and fan setups good to go, all I've got left to figure out is heating.

I see a lot of people use light bulbs as source for heat but was wondering if there was something else I could use?

Ceramic emitter is what I want.

We have a furnace room that I just mounted a 2 wall racks in. The lower rack is for pants/shorts and the upper for jackets. We also have a boot dryer mounted in there that can do 2 pairs at a time. Presently gloves go on the hot water tank but I want to put a wire shelve in.

Computer fans in a box that has pvc pipe sticking out for gloves and boots is the usual home made setup

I have a commercially made home dryer that let's you just circulate air or some heat with the flick of a swit h, you don't really need much heat and you wana be careful you don't melt something especially intuition liners if you are experimenting

I also got one of those things that sits on the heater duct with the pointy bits and it works well

This - we have dryer, furnace and hot water tank all in one enclosed room (laundry room). Its dryer than the Sahara desert and things dry super fast.

I thot about plumbing some ducting [HTML_REMOVED]pipe into the furnace ducts to make a boot n glove dryer

The heat from your house and air movement should dry the items out. I know I hang my rain gear in an HVAC room at work (it's a fucking wind tunnel) and my stuff is dry the next shift.

I have no furnace room.. and I've recently spray-foamed the home. So air movement has been severely restricted.

I fear for my Intuitions, but I fear my children's stank more. If I screw up and need new liners, so be it. Lesson learned.

Rocking one of those fuckers now. But I've come to realize only peasants have those things in their house. For me to get ahead I need it to be hidden and operated from a switch.

Once that is complete, I will achieve transcendence and find complete happiness.

Buy a small $20 electric hearter and gut the little thing for it's heater and fan.

Find one with individual heat and fan control. Set heat to low and crank the fan.

I've thought of trying to do a little heated closet in the garage with fan to circulate air for wet mtb gear.
