is it ok if my ski legs are rusty?

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Not a problem there's lots of trees to break your fall on the way out. :P

i'll have to do a check on my gear tonight when i get home. i know where my ski's are but not 100% on my skins/boots/poles. 7am would be fine for a start if i have everything.

Reports on FB that avy conditions in the Hollyburn trees were very sketchy today, with lots of natural releases. Ski safe!

hmm, might be best to give it a miss for the first ski of the year then.

some awesome laps this morning with rat and the giggler. the snow was great but it will be track out before the day is over.

Bump old thread.

Hollyburn was good on Saturday. Some holes at the very bottom but should all be filled in by weeks end.
Traffic going up at 830 was bumper to bumper, didn't see that last season until well after 9am. I guess that's the new norm now.
