massive risk taken eh. in this day and age, how do some people decide this might be a good idea? i mean get the training, buy the gear and go backcountry skiing, but don't commit suicide off the side of a ski resort, fuck sakes.
It all seems harmless when looking over the rope…"We'll just duck out here, get some sweet pow turns, and then swing back inbounds lower down". Unfortunately, the terrain in that area pushes you away from the boundary.
Ironically, if you tour up Hollyburn and ski down its northwest aspect, which is right above that gully, the terrain pushes you back inbounds right to Collins.
