Binding mounting

Hey ski-people, I need to get my daughters bindings mounted.

However, there is a chance she might go up a boot size this year.

Seeing as she's still on the heel-rail-adjustment-system, how much of a difference will there be mounting it with her current 22.5 sized boot versus mounting it with a 23 or 23.5 sized boot?

If the answer is not-much to very-little, cool, because I'll be up there this weekend and I can get it done.

Thats not much, depending on how they are mounted you should have enough adjustment range. My bindings can acomodate a fair range.

This.^
as long as when they were mounted originally it was to that 22 boot or within one size.
If by chance they wont adjust to the new larger boot . Make sure to remount the heel piece at least 2-3mm away from the previous mount holes. and make sure to fill and seal the old holes. ( making sure not to allow water ingress to the core of the ski.)

I thought the BSL still changed on the boot as you changed sizes? Doesn't help binding mount problem if the BSL grows.

If not mounted then mount them with the binding set almost as small as it can go (no the smallest incase you need some adjustment for forward pressure).

This will allow you the full adjustment range of the binding to go larger.

ha cool product. we used to tell parents they might consider just renting depending on how much the kids will go skiing. probably a good idea to have their own boots though. lots of hand me downs in ski towns if that's a possibility

Thanks all. The kids are well past the halfway mark for kids boots so no point in switching out of our current deal.

S'all good. Then do what Shirk suggested.

Also tell your ski tech what you plan on so he/she doesn't get some bright idea to mount them the exact opposite way.

Nah, I've got a dremel tool. I should be able to figure it all out.
