American. I bought a bunch of Norrona stuff off of them.. and some Boarding stuff off their DogFunk site.
They're good.
no complaints . fantastic return policy and good communication. I live in canada , purchase to my american mailbox . and seemingly win with most purchases.
they also have steep and cheap. sometimes same stuff but cheaper. order simple usps instead of courier like most sites and save getting gouged
I've bought from them. Like the others have said, they're good. Do the ship to the US thing though if you can. Huge list of products they won't ship to Canada.
what everyone else has said. Easy to deal with. Will price match too.
Found the email they sent me when I ordered my Dakine Blitz from them. Here's the list of products they can't ship internationally, along with the short list of products they can at the bottom.
Below is a list of brands that we can?t ship internationally.

We can ship Smith Optics, Suncloud, Montbell, Lib Tech, Bent Metal, Gnu, Volcom, La Sportiva, and Yeti only to North America.
- We can ship Norrøna only to North America.
- We can ship Rome to only the US and Canada.
- We cannot ship Moment or Nemo to Japan.
- We cannot ship Marmot to Australia or New Zealand.
Thanks Rasheed. Looks like that list kills it for me.
Anyone know any canadian sites or others that will ship to canada, specifically for backcountry gear?

You can always get stuff shipped to point roberts and pick it up. TSB shipping charges $5 per package. I scored POC VPD upper body armour for $149 from backcountry this season and shipped it there. They do backcountry branded G3 gear and often sell it 40% off. Nothing like buying products from Denver made by a north vancouver company! Saved me a bundle though.
12 hour drive. No sale.

Jrawk, Tacklebox lives up North so going across the border to pick up won't be an option.

Has anyone used LiveOutThere.com ? Based out of Calgary, I ended up on their email list somehow although I haven't ordered anything from them (maybe when I was shopping for a pack to use bikepacking?)
I've bought a jacket for my wife from thelasthunt.com last spring. It's related to LiveOutThere.com, but felt like the sketchy little brother selling discount merch from a table in the back alley.
I'd never heard of either site before, but the price was better than anything I could find in the US. They have had a retail store in Calgary for a few years, so I went with it. I have no complaints about service or delivery, but can't speak for warranty or returns.
Coincidentally, I met the wife of the owner in central America a few weeks later. I asked her why the last hunt looked so shady, but she said she didn't have anything to do with the business.

Some of those places do freight forwarding, as in get it shipped there and they will ship it to you. Not sure of the cost but it would be worth looking in to.

for bc gear telemark pyrenes or gearx . depending on what you need you could also try level9sports(well set up for cross border-checkout price is the price) ans also STP sierra trading post(try googling for additional discount codes)
telemark pyrennes can be pretty cost effective for plastic ski boots
backcountry is huge but then you got the shipping/duty and whatnot
